Syndemic is a Melodic Death Metal outfit hailing from Hamburg, Germany.\n \nFounded in 2011, the band delivers a dynamical style which manages to merge modern and oldschool elements. Mellow, atmospheric passages alternate with brutal parts, creating a Death Metal style that is diversified and rich in contrast. Thereby, unique melodies spread a melancholic vibe throughout all of their songs.\n \nProducer Eike Freese (Deep Purple, Callejon, Gamma Ray, Dark Age, etc.) gained attention and high interest in the band in winter 2012. The debut album 'For Those In Desperation' was hereupon recorded and produced in the Hammerstudios Hamburg between April and May 2013. During the recordings, great importance was attached to a natural, authentic sound to capture all the band´s dynamic in its entirety and to achieve a unique, own sound.
