Lucien Dubuis Trio developped his own style, the future rock. A mix between every kind of influences, on the service of energy. Humour, freedom and game are part of the means. Occasionally, Marc Ribot (guitar, NYC) joins the trio. They recorded together the “Ultime Cosmos” album in New York, which was released in 2009 by the label ENJA Records.\nThe trio plays on stages all around the world since 1998. It received a composition order and the support of the priority jazz program from the Swiss Arts Council.\nIn 2010, it represented Switzerland at the Swiss Pavilion at the Universal Exposition in Shanghaï.\nTheir upcoming album “Future Rock” has been recorded in November 2011 in New York and will be out soon.\nLucien Dubuis\nalto sax and contrabass clarinet\nBorn in Porrentruy, Switzerland, in 1974, non-conformistic multi-reedist Lucien Dubuis has been an active musician in the jazz and improvised music scene for several years — with more than 20 albums to his credit. He has worked with such as Marc Ribot, Hans Koch, Daniel Humair, Richie Beirach, Barry Guy, Kalle Kalima, Linda Sharrock, Daniel Erdmann and played big festivals in New York, Montreux, Rome, Shanghai, Geneva, La Paz, Bogotá and other places.\nIn 2010, Lucien Dubuis received the Culture Award from Biel\u002FBienne City (CH).\nIn 2011, he received the grant of the Canton of Bern for a 6 months residence in New York.\nRoman Nowka\nbass and electric guitar\nLionel Friedli\ndrums
