FS was originally a solo project of Antti Kirjavainen for three years, but became a public band in summer 2011 when Timo Kirjavainen joined in. The band plays experimental death\u002Fdoom metal with strong gothic influences. It takes influences from bands like My Dying Bride, Saturnus, Novembre, Katatonia and Swallow the Sun. Older ShamRain has also served as a major inspiration.
