Priscilla Star Díaz (born in Harlem, New York) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter dancer, and director best known by her stage name P-Star. She is best known for her role as Jessica Ruiz in the 2009 version of The Electric Company. She is also a former beauty pageant contestant[citation needed] and host of Teen Diaries Online.[1] P-Star was on the cheerleading squad at East Side High School.[citation needed] P-Star grew up in the Harlem section of New York City with her older sister, Solsky.[2]
