(Heather’s first press piece) \nHeather Graham, recent graduate with a BS in Media Communications Studies, possesses one of the rare voices of our time. While attending college, she interned at Georgia Congressman Phil Gingrey’s campaign office and the premier event venue in Atlanta, The Swan Coach House. Now at 11Alive as social media strategist, she is also working with Grammy-winning producers at Jan Smith Studios on an EP. A Passion exudes her as she strives to exceed industry standards. Upon meeting Heather, you feel as though you’ve known this young woman your whole life, she exudes joy, sophistication, and her own unique sense of humor. She is quick to reveal that the voice you hear coming from her petite 5’4 frame, is not her own. “God gifts every one of His children differently, but when you realize what gift He has given you, use that gift responsibly and share it for His Kingdom. Each of us should use our gifts serve others, as stewards of Gods grace in its various forms. That’s 1 Peter 4:10, you can’t make this stuff up! It honestly brings me great joy to do His work.” \nShe is strongly grounded in her values and is very driven to succeed. “The goals that I’ve set are not impossible, if I continue with passion, patience, and work smart to achieve them.” \nGraham recalls that the passion for singing began at the young age of 6 sitting at her grandmother’s piano, playing the theme song of The Titanic by ear. But it wasn’t until high school that she ever shared her gift, and immediately the love affair with music began. She describes her artistic style as unique to herself, “classic yet playful.” “I’m inspired by the great jazz artists, Sinatra, Ella, Tony Bennett. I’m also influenced and challenged by the voices of my generation, Aguilera, Beyonce, Dion, Carey, and Houston. I’ve traveled and toured extensively throughout my college career performing. Being able to spend more time in the studio writing songs with my incredible team is the biggest blessing. I absolutely love the artistic style I’m uncovering. To understand it, just listen.”
